Condition

The house is a long, rectangular structure covered by a corrugated iron hipped roof. It has simple mono pitched verandah to the front of south eastern facade with square timber posts. There is a change in roof height at about one third of the house length, which is most probably the evidence of an early addition. At the rear of the servants' quarters there is a stable and coach house, altered, but still coherent with the early stage of the site's development. Some early brickwork is still visible. The three large 18 pane windows appear to have come from another building, possibly Welbourne's undertaking premises, which were situated close by and demolished in the 1920s, which might be the approximate date of construction of the coach house.
