Aesthetic significance as an example of architecture dating from the 1960's. It was of social significance to the members of the Freemasons in Perth.
Two storey off-form concrete building with heavy horizontal element at the top of the building. Ground floor level is an open underground parking area at one end. Some concrete block infill at ground floor level. Interior comprises Freemason's ceremonial hall and offices.
Demolished 2002. The Freemasons Hall building design was the winner of a limited design competition between selected architectural firms. It was constructed for the Grand Lodge of Western Australia and housed their headquarters. It was demolished in 2002.
