Statement of Significance

Notable for the style, design and materials used in an earlier period for the construction of farm sheds and stock yards.

Physical Description

The shearing shed is located 50 metres east of the homestead with the hay shed being 60 metres north of the former building. The shearing shed has almost a flat roof with lean to verandah type constructions on the east and west sides. Bush timber uprights (wandoo) support the building and the roof and timber slaps form the walls of the shed. The hay shed has a hip roof which is supported by wandoo posts at 3m centres. The sheep yards are made of timber slabs set into the ground.
