The concrete cricket pitch was built by the Dulyalbin Cricket Team around 1936 on land donated by Rube Bathurst. The Cricket Club also built a bough shed. The Club joined the Eastern District Cricket Association playing Westonia, Walgoolin, Bodallin and Southern Cross. The members of the Club donated money towards the cost of cricket gear. The Cricket Club has since been disbanded, but the pitch remains as a reminder of the vital role sport played in the life of rural communities. The following list of names represents the men of the district who may have met to play or watch at the district cricket association games at Dulyalbin around 1936. Many of the family names have continued in the district. J Symes, George Rose, Mr McKinnon, Joe Harvey, Mr Steel, Charlie Felstead, Bill Harvey, Mr Pugh, Don Ross, Joe Goodhill, Grundy Bros, Rube Bathurst, Doug Burton, E Bodie, Dave Gibson, Les Sykes, THale Jim Suitor, Bill Warmington, Jim Gethin, Ted Page, E Beasly, T Broadhurst, Mr McKenzie, E Daws, Mr Murphy, Mr Dittmars, Mr Day, Mr Johnson, Jim Critchison, Jock Gill, J Stacey, Hugh Rose, Harry Sherar, F Watson and Jock Robb
The Dulyalbin Cricket Pitch can be found in the middle of a farm paddock on the South Nulla Nulla Road. It is made of concrete but has deteriorated badly. What is left is preserved by the owner of the farm who ploughs around the pitch to plant his crops.
