Statement of Significance

Building forms part of the remnant building stock which make up the historic town's fabric.

Physical Description

Large Georgian style building c.1896. Painted brickwork with front porch additions. Owners advise that bronze plaque (now removed) gave date of 9 Jan 1900.

History

The place is associated with development of Freemasonry in Western Australia, following the establishment of the first lodges in the late 19th century.
