One of the few remaining hotels and a substantial structure that contributes significantly to the Bayley Street precinct
A two storey structure with only remnants of the timber verandah. Now only two rooms deep, it once fronted a hall, the Cremorne Theatre, where variety acts were performed. The facade has been executed in the freestyle classical manner and has three major and one minor bay.
Once a theatre and hotel of some renown, the theatre closed as the population declined and the hotel followed shortly afterwards. The theatre burnt down after its closure.
