Statement of Significance

The place was of aesthetic significance as an example of a commercial building constructed during the inter-war period. The external façade at first floor level contributed to the Wellington Street streetscape.

Physical Description

Demolished. Two storey commercial building with vertical proportions to facade simple circular arched pediment to parapet. Loss of original detail at ground floor level.

History

Demolished 2008. At this location was a c. 1940 two storey commercial building with vertical proportions to the façade and a simple circular arched pediment to the parapet. It was demolished in 2008.
