The place is a good example of a rendered masonry residence in the Federation Bungalow style, representing the expansion of Fremantle in the Post World War I period. The place contributes to a substantially intact late nineteenth and early twentieth century streetscape close to the centre of Fremantle.
Single storey rendered stone house has a zincalume hipped and two small gables roof and a rendered chimneys with corbelling intact.
In 1917/18 a house was built for Alice Elizabeth Sievers. The first occupant was Nicholas Sievers.
