According to the Railway Timetable, the Railway siding has been variously known as Ryan's (1892) and Ryan's Landing (1900). A 1957 map refers to it as Chally. The property is thought to have been originally owned by Will Ryan, who married May Williams. Subsequent owners include, Mick Fisher, Mr ? Jones, and the present owner, Howard Jones.
