The site and place demonstrate a continuation of the social and civic use by the Capel community.
Brick and tile construction.
The second Capel Hall was constructed on this site in 1911, after the original hall was found to be unsafe.(see ref No. 99) The Government offered £ for £ for a new hall. The Roads Board raised £400.00, and a 80' x 30' dressed jarrah hall was constructed. It included a supper room and portable stage, and allowed for the addition of a library and reading room at a later stage. It opened in May 1911. The timber hall on this site tragically burnt down in 1972. In 1974/5 the existing hall was constructed on the site.
