Small and simple single storey timber framed cottage with weatherboard cladding. The gable roof is clad with corrugated metal with a brick chimney extending up the south elevation projecting above the ridge line. A separate skillion roofed verandah canopy is positioned below the eaves and supported on timber columns with a fibre cement panel balustrade. Timber framed windows. The garden is enclosed by a timber picket fence. Destroyed by January 2016 Yarloop/Harvey/Waroona Fire.
One of the simple timber cottages built in the townsite for the accommodation of workers at the workshops. The houses were built predominantly by the company which owned and managed the town, Millar's Timber and Trading Company from the 1890s to the 1970s. The materials for the cottages were likely to have been manufactured in the workshop and local tradesmen built the homes to a standard design. This building was burnt down by the January 2016 Yarloop/Harvey/Waroona Fire. The Chimney was left standing however has was deemed structurally unsound and was subsequently removed.
