The significance of the tennis courts is the type of recreation that was offered to the community.
It is set at the West end of the town. the club building is a cement block and iron building with a central door overlooking the remains of the tennis courts. The building consists of two small rooms at either end of an open area. There is a kitchen with a wood burning stove at one end and a meeting room with blackboard at the other. The middle section is open to the tennis courts. The courts have not been maintained. There are fencing poles but no wire around the dirt of the court. Prior to the present club house being built, the club house was a tin shed and then a bough shelter.
The tennis court was once a tin shed then a bough shed before the brick building was established. The bricks are similar to the hall.
