Light tan brick police station with a T-shaped floor plan over two levels and a zincalume low pitched roof. Frontage has an entry arch which mirrors the form of the front facade. Glass windows cover the majority of the building visible from Prospect Road which are dividied into multiple panes of small square windows. Cells constructed from concrete.
Constructed in 1987 the place was in continuous use as a police station until it closed in 2023. Plans indicate the station was designed by MJ Begent from the Building Management Authority Architectural Division, and that the station was quite large including space for a broad range of policing functions including CIB, Liquor & Gaming, Traffic, a laboratory and scientific officer, as well as the standard interview rooms, armory, and multiple cells.
