Up until 1916, Reverend Baylis travelled from Goomalling and conducted church services at the Booth home. From 1916, RT Sullivan, the Congregational Minister rode a horse from Goomalling, and later from Dalwallinu. An annual Mothers Day Service started at the Booths, and was a popular occasion followed by a picnic. The tradition transferred to the Cadoux Hall after 1930. From when the hall was built, the regular monthly church services were conducted in Cadoux at the hall. On 17 April 1959, 200 people gathered in Cadoux for the opening of the Non denominational church. The Salvation Army, Anglicans and Methodist congregations had co-operated to create the unique non denominational church to allow Christians of all denominations to worship. The first service was conducted by RT Sullivan on the 19 April 1959, in commemoration of his 40 years of association with the community of Cadoux. The church survived the devastating earthquake on 2 June 1979, which destroyed much of the town of Cadoux. The church was used as a temporary accommodation for school after the earthquake.
