The APB building is locally significant for its connection to the agricultural industry of the district. Further its simple form, use of materials and corner siting adds to the streetscape of the site.
A small timber framed fibro clad building with a gable CGI roof. Verandahs front and rear are supported on timber posts and are partly enclosed with louvres above and fibro below. Walls are painted yellow. There is a metal fireplace and chimney to the NW. The building is surrounded by a mesh fence with galvanised iron posts and rails.
Originally built as a private residence, it was purchased by the Department of Agriculture for use as staff housing. Recently it has been used as a veterinary clinic.(Source: Local knowledge)
