Tree (MORETON BAY FIG (FICUS MACROPHYLLA), Fairbairn Street, has cultural heritage significance as evidenced by its inclusion in 'Fremantle's Landscape: A Study for the Municipal Inventory' for the following reasons: Historic value which represents the City's policy of roadside plantings for the beautification of a local area, aesthetic value for a contribution to the streetscape of Fairbairn Street.

TWO FICUS MACROPHYLLA (MORETON BAY FIG) (REMOVED) On the 27 February 2019 the City of Fremantle’s Council adopted the Register of Significant Trees and Vegetated Areas and determined that this place be removed from the Heritage List.
