Statement of Significance

The telegraph station has considerable architectural and historical significance. It's style is part (indecipherable) and blends well in its environment. Also it was one of the stations that linked the West Coast with the east ...(indecipherable)..part of our early history.

A large former telegraph station and post office built of the local stone in a random rubble wall and originally covered in CGI. Verandahs on 4 sides, interesting entrance (indecipherable) balustrading
