Statement of Significance

Historic - one of the first General Stores was run from this building, and the first chemist in the town of Gnowangerup. Social - people gathered at these fwo stores which provided a sen/ice to the community of Gnowangerup.

Physical Description

The Gnowangerup Homestitch Supplies is located in between the Gnowangerup Pharmacy and the Gnowangerup Newsagency. Originally two shops, this building housed a chemist and a general store. Mrs Maggie Smith ran the general store and NB Drummond ran the chemist.
