Physical Description

Another of the distinctive bank buildings in Fremantle - its presence is essential for architectural reasons as well as to maintain the character and scale of the precinct.

History

Assessment 1974 Construction: c.1910 This building is a two storey rendered brick bank on a corner. It is conspicuous by the absence of floral patterns - a square pattern decorates the facade which is characteristic of the "Federation" style. Compare this with the CBA Bank on the opposite corner which was built four years before.
