The Waddy Forest Hall and associated facilities have local historic and social significance for their association with the social life of the Waddy Forest community for over 60 years.
The hall is a rectangular shaped timber framed building, set on railway iron stumps, with corrugated iron cladding and gable corrugated iron roof. The main entrance to the north elevation is via double timber doors. Windows are double hung timber framed, most with 12 panes but some replaced with larger panes. There are two windows and a single entry door to the east side and three windows to the west side. The tennis courts are located immediately to the east of the Waddy Forest Hall. There are two courts with timber framed shelter sheds, rear walls brush lined with a corrugated iron roof. The cricket pitch is evident, although overgrown, some 30 metres to the south west of the Waddy Forest Hall.
The hall was built by public subscription on land donated to the Coorow Shire farmer W. G. Morcombe. On the opening day, a race meeting was held in the nearby paddock. The hall was moved about 150 metres east in the mid 1980's to provide access to pit for the Coorow Shire. The Hall and tennis courts are still in use.
