26090 Holland/Forrest Street Heritage Area
Single storey brick and Zincalume hipped roof house set above the level of the street. The roof extends over the verandah which is supported by timber chamfered posts between balustrades. The entrance is via steps and comprises pair of timber framed doors. Windows are timber framed. There is a rendered masonry retaining wall to the front boundary.
Post Office Directories first records a house here in 1918. The occupant was Francis O’Donnell who was there until c1928. The house was originally number 17, and became number 6 when the whole street was renumbered in 1937.
