·         The place has historic value for its association with early settlers the Emms family

Physical Description

Open green recreation space in middle of residential area. Enclosed by low bush timber rail. Children's play area. Characterised by the mature pines dotted around the site.

History

Early settlers 1910 (shack), 1914/15 (2-roomed corrugated iron dwelling) 1919 (weatherboard walls, iron roof dwelling)

Good This site was the location of the residences of the Emms Family who lived there from c1910 to 1950. During the Depression years of the 1930s other members of the family moved to the location and several pine trees were planted on the site.
