Social significance to the local community as a tertiary educational facility.

Physical Description

Fremantle TAFE comprises single and two storey functional steel framed, glass and glass brick buildings. The front elevation of the main building features glazed sections from ground to ceiling height on one side, and high level windows to the other. An open grassed area with a central path and steps leads to the entrance which has a gabled portico with steel post supports.

History

TAFE property used for educational purposes. This building was constructed by 1968 to replace the Fremantle Technical School.
