Fine avenue of Norfolk Island Pines planted in 1904.
These are some of the earliest pines planted in the Cottesloe Road Reserves. The first were planted in 1903 in Park Drive and in reserves. They are now synonymous with Cottesloe. It was part of a governmet initiative to local councils. The Forestry Department made trees available to local councils. John Doscas and Willia Zimpel both claimed the credit of asking for the trees to be planted in their street. Both had wells which they used to water the trees.
