Statement of Significance

: - the place continues the visual character of Hannan Street; and, - the place is closely associated with the rapid population growth in the eastern goldfields at the turn-of-the-century.

Physical Description

A two-storey commercial building built to the pavement line with verandahs and balconies over the footpath. The building is a simple brick structure with an unadorned parapet and corrugated galvanised iron covered roof. The balcony is adorned with iron lace work.
