The former Hill 60 Mine Manager's House has some significance for its association with the mine and its employees. It is representative of the type of construction for worker's accommodation in the area. The house also has considerable streetscape value, given its simple form, small scale and basic construction materials.
This is a small timber framed house clad with corrugated iron. It has a steep pitched gable roof with broken-back to the front and rear. The house has a verandah to the street elevation (east) which is partly enclosed with corrugated iron to the south-east corner. The verandah has balustrading lined with corrugated iron. A metal chimney is attached to the south facade. There is a lean-to at the rear.
This house was the former Manager's House for the Hill 60 Mine.
Integrity: Medium Degree Modifications: Verandah partly enclosed.
