The building is significant on the following grounds: 1. Built early 1900s for West Australian Bank and continued as bank building after merger with Bank of NSW until 1950s. 2. Bank managers included Howard Ashton (during World War I) a notable scout leader. 3. Later used for Les Riley's Vogue Fabrics.
Single brick and iron building with ornate eave support.
