The place demonstrates associations with pioneers and early settlers. The stone materials and style make a significant contribution tot he streetscapes and character of the town.
Constructed of locally quarried stone, Single storey, Rendered quoins, Gable roof (with apex), Symmetrical front with double entry, Gothic windows, Stepped buttresses along the side, Asbestos skillion extension at rear.
In 1908 James George of Gingin began proceedings. In 1909 the foundation stone was laid.
