Statement of Significance

The building is significant on the following grounds: 1. Built in 1963/64 to replace wooden bridge which was located on the South side. 2. In 1964 hump added to allow piggy-back wagons. 3. Symbolic of Narrogin's part and importance as a Regional Railway Centre. 4. Linkage of East and West parts of town.
