Statement of Significance

·         The place has social value for the members of the community who have attended services and events at the venue

Physical Description

Double height concrete block structure with very shallow pitched gable roof clad in colorbond. The building is plain in design with the elevation mass enlivened slightly by shallow pilasters creating bays across the west and east elevations. The elevation is further broken up by provision of narrow full height windows at the north end which is divided into seven lights by horizontal glazing bars. The north and south elevations contain no architectural features but both are enlivened by full height crosses. The main entrance is on the east elevation, turning its back onto the main street and opens into the larger St Barnabus’ complex.
