Building forms part of remnant building stock which makes up historic town's fabric.
Brick and tile house c.1930s. Built in a bungalow style with two gables facing the street.
Mr Robert Calder Crowther lived in this house. He was longest serving Mayor of Guildford and prominent in many areas of the town (1927-30, 1930-37). He was Treasurer at Guildford Grammar, served in World War I and became Major in Command of Volunteer Home Guards during World War II.
