The original presbytery had the form of a pre World War One bungalow, constructed during the InterWar period. Its original form has been intruded upon by adaptations, although the entry porch remains a distinctive elementwhich signals the role of the Presbytery.
The second place of worship to be built in Peppermint Grove, was the Roman Catholic Church, Star of the Sea. It was built on land donated by Dr Daniel Kenny, a large landholder in Peppermint Grove and Cottesloe. The Presbytery was built a few years after the Church on land purchased from Lord Forrest for £200. Considerablehistorical significance.
The place retains ~moderate levelof integrity Verandah reconstructed and partly infilled Loss of roof detail Addition of intrusive elements at roof level
