House, 202 Carrington Street is a single storey masonry house. The front façade is elaborately composed. A bedroom wing projects from the main body of the house and is flanked by a verandah wing that extends across the remainder of the facade. The front face of the wing containing the semi-enclosed verandah extends slightly in front of the bedroom wing. There is a garage attached to the south side of the house. The garage is of the same construction as the house. The house is of rendered brickwork. It has a Marseilles pattern terra cotta tiled hipped and gable roof. The roof of the porch is a gambrel roof. The double hung sash windows are aluminium framed replacements. A low brick wall runs along the front boundary. The front garden is mainly brick paved. It contains a garden bed of rose bushes.
