Statement of Significance

The Dudawa water supply catchment site has historic significance for its connection with the settlementandthe provision of the first public water supply of the Dudawa area.

History

This area of land was reserved on or after 05/12/1905. The area was reserved as a water catchment zone to supply water to the Dudawa dam site.(See Place No. 42).
