Statement of Significance

Social value: The station played an important role in the community providing a link to Perth and the south west and for telegraphic communications in the early days. Historic Value: The building is important part of the railway network that was linked to Brookton. Aesthetic Value: The building is a good example of the building style from the period, it is an impostant part of the town's original building stock and makes a positive contribution to the streetscape.

Physical Description

The building is encircled by a straight pitch verandah with stop chamfered verandah posts. The tiles have raised ridge caps.
