The site is important for it's association with the agricultural activities of the district and historically significant for incorporating part of the original Agricultural Hall erected in 1907.
Federation Free Classical single storey rendered brick building with symmetrical facade displaying many characterstics of the Federation Academic Classical style with the omission of columns. Bricks were locally made by SW Taylor and O Saggers. Corrugated iron roof.
Originally built in 1907 as the Agricultural Hall. This former hall now forms part of the foundation of the present hall. The bricks were carted by farmers 1906 at the time of construction, the hall was considered one of the finest buildings of the Great Southern Region. Rebuilding the hall, began in 1925 under the control of the Roads Board, because of the growing needs of the community.
