Statement of Significance

This site has been demolished. The record is maintained for historical information purposes.

Physical Description

This house has a thrust gabled room with the remainder of the house under a hipped roof. A return verandah is set under a broken back roof and is supported on timber posts with brackets and a simple balustrade. It has tuck pointed brick and rough cast render walls with an iron roof and a timber framed verandah.

History

A very good example of a Federation Filigree style of house more common in Inglewood and Mount Lawley and it is little changed through time. It is a later house in the street and one of its most sophisticated in Maylands end and also one of the most authentic. It is complete in its fabric as well as the open spaces and landscape elements.
