Statement of Significance

The building is significant on the following grounds: 1. Erected in early years (1890s) for headmaster. 2. Used over the years for government offices, private home (Charles Mitchell), Youth Centre and now Business Enterprise Centre.

Physical Description

Simple stone and iron building, with a wooden verandah. The former dwelling is a random stone structure, on the front faced with brick quoined openings and corners. The zincalume clad roof is hipped and the front verandah extends in an unbroken skillion off the main roof. The building is modest in scale and size with a symmetrical two room frontage with central front entry.
