The place was of historic significance because it reflected the period of affluence. The place was a representative example of a residential property in West Perth that has undergone a change of use to commercial/professional offices with the changing character and growth of the City.
Single storey house.
Demolished 2014-2020. An Italian cuisine restaurant, Chianti on Colins, was established in 1991 at 21-23 Colins Street. On 27 May 2014 a fire at the disused former restaurant destroyed the heritage building. The City approved demolition in 2015. By 2021 the building was demolished.
