This cemetery was gazetted in as a 'C' Reserve in 1912 and a number of the early settlers of the district are buried there. It is still consecrated land but is seldom used. It is vested in and maintained by the Shire of Koorda. Those buried there are Joseph and Letitia Martin considered to be one of the first agricultural settlers in the Shire of Koorda . Also buried there are Thomas Talbot Lodge and Alice Lillian Calvert, early settlers in the Cowcowing area.
