History

As the population of Cue increased the government put down a number of wells. A windmill tank and trough were installed for stock use. Jack’s Well was used as a back up water supply for town wells 1 and 2. The equipment on site was still in use during the mid 1940s and the government disposed of the site in the late 1940s.
