The place represents the value of education in the community.
Weatherboard and iron with a front verandah.
See School Reference No. 151 JSW Parker donated the land for school purposes. School started in the Agricultural Hall in 1910, and from then the parents and teacher (Mr Ward) lobbied the Education Department for a school and accommodation, which was declined. At Mr Ward's request tent-like living quarters were constructed, but he left and it wasn't suitable for a single woman. In 1935 the school house which had been built the previous year, burnt down. The existing place was built in 1936, as the Headmaster's residence. In 1948 the school closed.
