Physical Description

Includes Barns, Creamery & Shearing Shed. The once homestead & buildings has now been converted to a Home/Bed & Breakfast, Restaurant/Farm. Dingup homestead consists of a single storeyed, mud brick (rendered in mud) house, L-shaped in plan with a high pitched roof and verandahs back and front. Part of the front verandah has been made into a room (this creates the L-shape), with a verandah room to the east which is thought to be a slightly later edition. The roof covering is corrugated over the original shingles. The floor and woodwork is jarrah (pit sawn). Items of special interest are the attractive doors and window frames and the remaining original wallpaper. The sheds are of split jarrah.
