The Railway Station represents the railway line. It represents a way of life no longer practiced, and the development of the railway system.
Cream brick structure with feature panels of red face brick, the roof is corrugated iron, and the windows are in configurations of 9 square hopper openings. The station building extends along the platform with gables each end.
The railway line connected to Corrigin in 1914. As with most wheatbelt towns, the advent of the railway line signals an impetus to development. The railway line was instrumental in the progress of Corrigin. The site was originally occupied by the original railway station which was burnt down and replaced by this building in 1966. The trains.used to run from Narrogin every day, and from Perth once a week, arriving at 7pm. Everyone turned out
