Statement of Significance

The Hotel is historically important as a representative country town hotel, located in the townsite in close proximity to the railway. Tha place is socially significant for it's association with the local community and the travelling public.

Physical Description

Two storey brick and corrugated iron roof hotel building, rendered to sreet elevation and parapet. Two storey verandah to street elevation, partly infilled on upper level and timber balustrade. Bricks made locally by SW Taylor. Outbuildings of timber and corrugated iron believed to be the former stables.
