Statement of Significance

The hall has been a centre of social activities for the community since it was
built. Its significance to the community was demonstrated when the hall was refurbished from community
initiative, rather than demolishing it. It is an important feature in the town's townscape.

Physical Description

A large white, brick building with an asbestos roof. The Hall has
two small offices in its front and a large stage and audience seating space in the hall area.
