Statement of Significance
The place is a representative example of the retail building type of the period.
Physical Description
The building is constructed to the building line of Tower Street The building appears to have been built in two sections. Hie front selection to the street elevation appears to be a later addition. This structure features a step in the gable end to the street. The shop front has been altered and the plinth reconstructed. The verandah roof with the wide fascia is an addition.
