Good In the early part of the 20th century the hills area was gaining a reputation as a holiday destination. Weekend retreats were reasonably common and a group of artists took advantage of the scenic locality of Gooseberry Hill and acquired a small cottage to use as a weekend retreat and later as a holiday cottage.
