Part of a group of railway houses with 105 and 107 Woodward Street, but a larger example. The group demonstrates a particular style in building, one of substance and permanence compared to the bulk of timber framed corrugated iron clad housing in the town. They are an integral part of this important complex of railway buildings in Coolgardie that were vital to the development and history of the Eastern Goldfields.
Stone cottage with corrugated iron roof built in 1896 by the Railway Authority for railway employees. A simple rectangular building with a gabled roof, 5 rooms plus weatherboard additions at the back.
A part of the railway building complex which was a vital communications and transport link for the isolated town. This building accommodated a higher ranked railway worker and his family.
