Statement of Significance

The trees are important for aesthetic and environmental reasons. They are also socially and historically important as remants of a planting carried out by young people from the community in 1915.

Physical Description

Trees were planted by school children - most removed in 1963. Remains Norrish St trees were destroyed in 1979.
